K9 Easy Dine© is all about nutritious doggie dinners. A blend of healthy, raw, natural, whole foods combined with extensively researched natural supplements, to promote optimum health and longevity for your pet.

To help owners with some of these problems, we have devised K9 Easy Dine© Dietary Plans. These are individual consultations that relate specifically to your dog’s problems and can help to target areas such as obesity, helping you to plan a healthier eating regime to assist your pet back to tip top condition.

From our consultation we can assist with supplying you with a dietary plan for your pet to bring him or her back to optimum health. We can even assist with supplying my own range of healthy food.

Tracey Morrison of Proactive Pets is currently a member of S.A.E.N.A. (Small Animal & Equine Naturopathic Assoc) and the N.C.T.M (National College of Traditional Medicine), having studied Small Animal nutrition (primarily with my focus on canine health).

We are a dedicated, privately owned company that focuses on feeding your dog a range of balanced, whole foods that will help to promote amazing health and ultimately longevity for your canine companion.

As the majority of our food consists of raw, whole foods, the benefits far outweigh ANY type of processed foods (including dog biscuits) or any type of cooked or heat

treated foods (e.g. canned dog food or even home cooked recipes). If the meat is cooked, the heating process destroys these essential amino acids, decreases the protein digestibility and will therefore not contain digestive enzymes, making the digestive process further impaired. It is only raw food that contains nature’s balance of the exact amount of vitamins & minerals and digestive enzymes that your dog requires for complete health and well-being.

The main function of enzymes is to keep you internal systems working. Only raw foods contain these enzymes and as almost all processed pet food is heat-treated or cooked, the enzymes are therefore destroyed.

Enzymes are normally lost through sickness, pregnancy, stress, effects from extreme weather conditions, urine and faeces. Unless you replace these with raw foods, your pet’s immune system will be compromised.

K9 Easy Dine© has been researched extensively and prepared with loving care. Homemade Wet Pet Food

Our food contains a healthy mix of meats (including free-range chicken), raw meaty bones, a variety of natural, healthy fruit and veggie’s and a balance of grains, legumes and natural supplements that have enormous benefits for your pet’s health. Raw meat has enormous health benefits alone. It contains essential vitamins and minerals and essential amino acids.

Nutritious Bone Broth

If your dog is recovering from illness, is elderly, is a picky eater or simply needs an excellent nutrition boost or liver detox, bone broth provides the perfect dog nutrition. It will peak the interest of a sick dog who is not much interested in eating or chewing food anymore and can easily lick it from a small bowl or plate. It is also good for ageing joints.

Numerous diseased states seem to be the cause of insufficient or unbalanced nutrients that a lot of today’s commercial pet foods are lacking. Early signs such as skin disorders, recurring ear infections and even bad doggie breath can be related purely to diet. Early signs of degenerative diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, cancers can sometimes stem from insufficient nutrients in diets.

Our nutritionist is a member of S.A.E.N.A. (Small Animal & Equine Naturopathic Assoc), having studied Small Animal nutrition (primarily with my focus on canine health) at the N.C.T.M (National College of Traditional Medicine).

Tracey was quite surprised to find that there was no product available in today’s market that contained all the ingredients (that she had studied about), that were essential to her own dog’s well-being, so K9 Easy Dine was born!

After studying nutrition she was amazed that commercially prepared food could be so detrimental to her pet’s health. A lot of these product use fillers such as corn or grains based products to “bulk up” the contents and the cooked (not human grade) meat was nutritionally insufficient to enhance the immune system, leaving the poor animals exposed to numerous health problems.

Early signs of degenerative diseases such as arthritis, diabetes, cancers, pancreatic disorders, numerous skin ailments even sugar diabetes can emerge after a number of

years, as a result of feeding a diet predominately high in soluble carbohydrates, containing excessive starch, (which reacts in the body like feeding sugar) from grain-based products. A prime example of this is dry processed dog food.

Skin ailments in dogs are especially high on the list of problems that may be directly attributed to diets consisting mainly of grain-based products. Many nutrients that are essential for healthy skin cell formation and production cannot be supplied by grains in the required amounts necessary for healthy growth and development. A combination of both grains and legumes would only be recommended as part as a balanced diet. A diet that would incorporate a small amount of varied grains and legumes and lots of raw meaty bones for total nutrition.
